When you use this website, various items of personal data are collected. Personal data is data by which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.
Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Information on the controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, email addresses or similar).
Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period has been stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for erasure or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be erased unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, the data will be erased once these reasons cease to apply.
General information on the legal bases for data processing on this website
If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR if special categories of data within the meaning of Art. 9(1) GDPR are processed. In the event of explicit consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, the data processing is also based on Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or to access to information on your terminal equipment (e.g. via device fingerprinting), the data processing is additionally based on § 25(1) TDDDG. Consent may be withdrawn at any time. If your data is required for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Furthermore, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR if it is required for compliance with a legal obligation. Data processing may also be carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Information on the legal bases relevant in each individual case is provided in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.
Recipients of personal data
In the course of our business activities, we work with various external bodies. In some cases, this also requires the transfer of personal data to these external bodies. We only pass on personal data to external bodies if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. disclosure of data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or if another legal basis permits the disclosure of data. When using processors, we only pass on our customers’ personal data on the basis of a valid data processing agreement. In the case of joint processing, a joint controllership agreement is concluded.
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may withdraw consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
IF THE DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME, ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(1) GDPR).
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING INSOFAR AS IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(2) GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Access, rectification and erasure
Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data. You may contact us at any time regarding this and any other questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You may contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you may request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.
- If we no longer need your personal data but you need it for the exercise, defence or establishment of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, your interests and ours must be weighed against each other. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
Where you have restricted the processing of your personal data, such data – apart from its storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookies and local storage
This website does not set any cookies itself. Cookies and similar technologies from Google Analytics 4 and Hotjar are only used if you have given your consent via our cookie notice (see section 5). If you add content to your wishlist, the website stores this selection exclusively locally in your browser’s storage (entry “dzia-merkliste” in localStorage). The entry is not transmitted to us or to third parties and remains in place until you remove the content from the wishlist or delete the website data in your browser.
This entry is strictly necessary for the service you have requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG); the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Consent via our cookie notice
This website obtains your consent to the use of non-essential technologies via a cookie notice that we operate ourselves. No third-party service is used for this purpose.
Your decision is stored exclusively locally in your browser (entry “rwh-cookie-consent” in localStorage) and is not transmitted to us or to third parties. It remains there until you change it or delete the website data in your browser. If we use an additional service, we will ask you again.
As long as you have not given your consent, no analytics services and no maps from Google Maps are loaded. You can change or withdraw your decision at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer.
The cookie notice is used to obtain the consent to the use of cookies required by law. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not combined with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.
Enquiries by email, telephone or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent may be withdrawn at any time.
The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you ask us to erase it, withdraw your consent to its storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
5. Analytics tools
Google Analytics 4
This website uses – exclusively with your consent – the analytics service Google Analytics 4. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter “Google”).
Google Analytics enables us to analyse the behaviour of website visitors statistically, for example which pages are accessed and how long a visit lasts. For this purpose, Google Analytics uses technologies that make it possible to recognise the user (e.g. cookies).
The service is only loaded after you have given your consent via our cookie notice. Without your consent, no script from Google is loaded and no data is transmitted to Google. We use Google Consent Mode for this: storage for advertising purposes (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) remains deactivated in all cases; only analytics storage is enabled.
It is used exclusively on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future – via the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer.
A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information on the handling of user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Hotjar
This website uses – exclusively with your consent – the analytics service Hotjar. The provider is Hotjar Ltd., Dragonara Business Centre, 5th Floor, Dragonara Road, Paceville, St Julian’s STJ 3141, Malta (website: https://www.hotjar.com).
Hotjar is a tool for analysing your user behaviour on this website. With Hotjar, we can, among other things, record your mouse and scroll movements and clicks. Hotjar can also determine how long you kept the mouse pointer on a particular spot. From this information, Hotjar creates so-called heatmaps, which can be used to determine which areas of the website are preferred by website visitors.
Furthermore, we can determine how long you stayed on a page and when you left it. We can also determine at which point you abandoned your entries in a contact form (so-called conversion funnels). In addition, Hotjar can be used to obtain direct feedback from website visitors. This function serves to improve our web offering.
Hotjar uses technologies that make it possible to recognise the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or the use of device fingerprinting). The service is only loaded after you have given your consent via our cookie notice.
It is used exclusively on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future – via the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer. Irrespective of this, you can deactivate data collection by Hotjar at https://www.hotjar.com/policies/do-not-track/; this must be done separately for each browser or device.
Further information about Hotjar and the data collected can be found in Hotjar’s privacy policy: https://www.hotjar.com/privacy.
Data processing agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the providers of the services mentioned above. This is a contract required under data protection law which ensures that they process the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
6. Plugins and tools
Google Maps
This website displays maps from the Google Maps service. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter “Google”).
The maps are only loaded once you have given your consent via our cookie notice or have clicked “Load map” on a map. Only then does your browser establish a connection to Google; in the process, your IP address and the page accessed, among other things, are transmitted to Google. Google may use cookies or comparable technologies in this context.
It is used exclusively on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG; consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future – via the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer. A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
